It’s better but I still hurt

Saw the eye doctor again today, she says it’s a lot better. I have to go back in on Friday for another follow-up.  It hurts like the devil though. She did recommend an over-the-counter couter eye drop to help with that. Apparently it’s not so much the lack of a numbing agent that’s causing the discomfort as it is the new antibiotic is stronger than the old one and tends to dry out the surface of the eye. She said these drops would help prevent that without interfering with the antibiotic. I just want it fixed soon. It hursts.

Talked to Amanda a little today. She and boyfriend are still together, but there’s something else going on. I’m not sure what it is. She wanted me to call her when I got home but she didn’t answer. I’ll try again when I’m done with this.

Work sucks. I’m putting in an application at one of the local grocery stores today or tomorrow. I hate to change jobs right now just when the perks at my current job are getting pretty good, but I can’t be miserable all the time, and I am. I’m being treated like crap, and I don’t think it’s going to change anytime soon. I need to have a talk with the big manager of the whole store but I can’t do that until I get my department re-set for spring. That’s supposed to be done by Friday, but it won’t be. I can’t do it under the conditions they’ve set: nothing goes to the back room, nothing on my overheads, no overtime, only one person helping. It’s unreasonable, and I’m sick of the stress and other sundry crap. Of course I’ll get fussed at because I won’t be done, but screw it and them. I tired of it. Let them do it within the parameters they’ve set for me and see if it gets done at all, much less on time.
