I’m a REAL manager now
We finished the training program today. I can’t believe it’s been three months. The time just flew by. I know I’ve learned things. I know I’ve changed and grown as a person and as a manager, but somehow it doesn’t seem like it. I’m going to miss most of my classmates, but of course five of them are going to the same store I am, so I’ll see them, but the others I’ll miss. Sometimes we got on each other’s nerves, but we generally like each other. We’re real managers now, with all the responsibility that goes with it. I think I’m a little worried about it.
The good news is that I’m now driving sixty miles less per day than I was before. That’s three hundred miles a week, a whole tank of gas. Yay!
Ember stayed the night on my couch last night watching TV and video tapes. I was a little surprised when I woke up and heard the television. I put on a robe to see who was downstairs since I didn’t know if Amanda had stayed or if Ember had stayed or if it was both of them. Since Amanda has asked that I wear clothes when she’s there I dug out the robe.
I know I’ve got more to say. I’ll shake it loose eventually.
