I’m a little drunk

Yes, for the first time in I don’t know how long I have had a beer. I’m toasted for the night. Seriously, that’s all it takes.

So it seems there was a waiting period for Critter’s break-up and it has now expired and it’s official. I didn’t realize that, not that it really matters, the writing has been on the wall for a while. Pretty much since she broke off the engagement more than a year ago.

My neighbors have some friends over, and either they are having a really good time or they are engaging in ritualistic sacrifice, it’s hard to tell the difference as much noise as they were making earlier.

Saw the landlord today, paid the rent. That was fun. I sat down and crunched some numbers today to see how much I could pay towards my student loans and realized I have a lot of money unaccounted for every month. I mean, it’s not here, it’s gone, but I don’t know to where. Over the past few months I’ve probably spent about a hundred dollars on DVDs and BDs, maybe another hundred on furniture, and I have no idea where the rest of it has gone. I’ve got a budget set up now, with automated payments for my big expenses and I’ll be making limited cash withdrawals for my other expenses (food and gas mostly) so two things will happen: 1) I’ll have the money in hand in case I screw up my book keeping and 2) I’ll be much less likely to screw up my book keeping. When the money for food runs out it runs the hell out, and I’ll either make better value choices or eat less, both of which are good ideas. If I pull the money for gas out up front and set it aside it will be less convenient for me (I’ll have to walk inside to pay) but I’ll have a better idea how much I’m spending on gas, and have the excess (if any) set aside for future weeks.

I’m gonna go now, I’m either gonna watch some movies or throw up, not sure which will be more fun at this point….
