I hate my stockers

We should have had a freaking spectacular night. We should have been done stocking by lunch and spent the next four hours detailing the store.

So why were all my stockers running around at 0655 (they’re off at 0700) trying to get the *unworked* freight off the floor? Because I told Nala I thought we’d have a good night is why. You’d think I’d know better by now.

I’m going to rip every single one of their heads off tonight, and I might even let myself enjoy it. I’ll also let them know that from now on I’ll have to type their evals and do my other admin work at home, because I obviously can’t leave them unsupervised for even the smallest amount of time or they’ll screw me over. So one of my precious three days off I’ll still be working, I’ll just get to do it at my own pace. And nakie.

And don’t even get me started on the vendors. We have a door time for vendors. Everyone that has a separate receiving department has door times. Our receiving department opens at 0430. Every day there are two vendors that come find me, no matter what I’m doing, at 0100 exactly, and ask to be let in. And they’ll just stand there and stare at you until you do it. And they never find me *before* I put my food in the microwave, oh no. It’s always right after I take that first warm delicious bite of my lunch that they come and get me. I haven’t had a warm lunch at work in almost six months. And to top it all off, they never have their stuff waiting at the door, they invariably have to unload their trucks after I interrupt my lunch to go over there and let them in. Would it kill them to unload and stage their freight *before* they come and get me so it only takes five minutes to get them in instead of fifteen or twenty? Goobers

I’m going to bed now.
