I get to see AmandaC!

I get to see AmandaC tomorrow! It’s been a long time.

One of the hourly managers and I were talking yesterday at work about the radios we use. Most of us use earpieces, and she said people look at her funny when her eyes shift off into the distance while she’s listening to the walkie. When I was in security we all did that too. Whenever tones dropped, indicating an ambulance or fire unit was being dispatched in our area, all the foot patrols would just stop, look slightly up, and our eyes would glaze over. The manager I was talking to said it was like the mother ship was calling, which prompted something else in my head and I said, "no, it’s the Bliss" making a silly reference to the current incarnation of V and the girl sitting next to us laughed so hard Coke came out her nose. It was great. Of course she was the only one who both heard me and understood what I was talking about…

Been having more freaky dreams. There was one a few nights ago where Carla and I had been called out to the loading dock for some sort of drama, and after appropriate instruction was given to dispel the drama we turned and started walking back into the building. Somehow we ended up holding hands, and I started to jerk away when she clenched her fingers, locking our hands together. She said, "don’t panic. Just drift away an no one will notice." Smart girl that Carla, even in my dreams. I told her about it the next time I saw her and she thought it was funny. I don’t trust her and probably never will again, but I can still make conversation with her.

Got my Wii hooked back up today, not sure why it took so long. I got a Mii Ember sent me; somehow she managed to make a Jack Skellington Mii. It’s kinda neat. I also bought a WiiSpeak microphone. It was on a cart at the local Walmart with a sign that read "50% off marked price at register." The marked price was $10, so of course I grabbed one. No, I don’t have any games that use it but c’mon! It was $5!

Finally bought the dragon incense burner I’ve been wanting for a while. I got a Buddha incense burner as well, but the cool think about that one is the platform that the incense is supposed to sit in is the perfect size to drop a tea light in, so that’s probably what I’ll be using it for.

Kinda stoked about the new iPhones. I can’t wait to see what the new iOS 4 will do for my 3Gs. I am so not giving up my 3Gs for a 4 just because the 4 is newer, there’s nothing wrong with it and I don’t know enough other people with iPhones to make all the extra iPhone to iPhone features worth it. I haven’t read through all the details but the FaceTime feature looks cool. It reminds me of the phone devices the human Agents that worked for the aliens used in Earth: Final Conflict.

I start my cake decorating classes tomorrow. Yay!

That’s all I have for now, gonna go kill some brain cells watching TV and playing FarmVille at the same time.
