Having trouble breathing, sort of

Yeah.

I have no voice, which made it devilishly hard to do my job today, not that anyone cared as I was the only salaried manager there today due to an emergency medical leave and poor scheduling on my boss’s part. Yay.

So, between the occasional deep chest cough, not being able to talk, and my breathing oscillating between sounding like Darth Vader and the TARDIS all day it was a little rough.

There might be another salaried manager there tomorrow. Oh yay.

If I don’t have my voice back and clear lungs by Monday I may have to come in to work late and go to a doctor first. One of the Senior Managers at the other store in town had to take a month off last year for a similar condition. Not gonna argue with ’em if they want me out, but it would kind of inconvenience the store.
