Good times and going home

Things are going well. We had to stay about forty minutes late today but we got everything on our list done. We wouldn’t have had to stay at all if I hadn’t had to finish more fixtures this morning. The effort I spent doing that meant I couldn’t take a team to manage so the other two managers in the department with me had two large teams to manage instead of splitting into three smaller teams. It’s actually easier to get things done if you have a smaller group to watch.

I’m feeling a little better. Got a little dizzy today and I’m still a little stopped up but I think I’ll be OK. I haven’t felt weak and wobbly like I did earlier in the week.

I get to go home tomorrow! Hopefully I’ll get my expense check before the end of the day because without it I can’t come back next week. I’ve got enough gas to get home, but I could only get halfway back. They said they meant to do them today but forgot. Whatever.

Dinner tomorrow with Ember and Sam unless something’s changed, so that’ll be fun. I’ve got to go pack up the truck now so I can sleep to my normal time tomorrow.
