Explosion

A house exploded south of where I live, in another city. Officials have made a point of mentioning the house had a natural gas hook-up every time a camera is pointed at them, but then they go on to say they have no reason to suspect natural gas played a part in the explosion. Horse biscuits; the house was torn brick from brick like a tornado hit it.

The reason I mention it is Other Senior Manager’s house was on the same street. In fact it was the most severely damaged of the houses that remained standing. It was actually pushed off its foundation by the blast. She’ll be coming in to work to start the day off and do the handover from overnights to days then she’s going home to deal with that mess. Fortunately she and her family were already renting another place so they aren’t homeless.
