Didn’t finish but still a good day

Had a good day at work today, even though we didn’t get everything done we needed to. We don’t have a lot on the schedule for the rest of the week so we should be able to catch up. For once it wasn’t my team that didn’t get done. My sections are complete, but it took all day. I was hoping to be at a point where I could send two of my guys to help other people right after lunch but it didn’t happen. There were fixture issues, naturally. Also the customers never seem to ask any of the people that actually work at that store where anything is. They ask us and get all pissy when we aren’t one hundred percent sure. Just about over them. It wasn’t MY idea to come in and move everything, I just get paid to do it. And I checked, we didn’t just re-model the store last year, it’s been six years thankyouverymuch so put that in your pipe and smoke it you cranky old gits.
