Crap, almost ten days…

I really don’t mean to do this. Really.

I survived my short overnight stint without being fired or reprimanded, but it was a near thing on the second. Friday night was really rough, mostly because the workers just didn’t work, but also because none of the trucks were unloaded when I got there. The freight is supposed to be sitting on the floor sorted when I walk in so I can plan my night. Bastards. Of course they didn’t want to hear that the next morning, so I didn’t volunteer it, but I did work it into conversation. Especially the fact that not only was one of them *not* unloaded I had to break the seal on it. That bought me some breathing room, but not much.

Can’t really spend a lot of time updating now, just wanted everyone to know I was still employed and not in therapy or an in-patient treatment facility.

Lots of stuff going on, I’ll try to get in an update tomorrow (Friday) but no promises.

I’m pretty well out of money until next Thursday, so I’m not sure what I’ll be doing for lunch. Probably just wandering around the mall just to get out of the store. I’ve got enough food at home so I’m not going to starve, but I might get a little cranky at work towards the end of the day, LOL. My bank will let you overdraft a little, which is good since I’m going to need another tank of gas, but I really don’t like doing that.

Had a bunch of interviews set up today but when I got in I was told they had been canceled by the very person who told me to set them up. She wanted to know why I scheduled interviews on a day we had all these meetings scheduled for. I told her it was because she *told* me in no uncertain terms that she wanted them scheduled today, and I didn’t know anything about the meetings. That was *SO* the wrong answer to give her.
