Clarification

Just wanted to let everyone know that despite my rant in my last real entry about how OtherGuy didn’t realize what a precious thing his second chance is I am not jumping off the deep end for Critter again. Still where I was a month or so back when Belle and I started up, plenty of love to go around.

Still no word from the application I put in for the apartment, but he might have only gotten it today, I’m really not sure when I sent the bloody thing. I think I got it on Wednesday night, which means I put it in the letter drop in the parking lot at work on Thursday, which means it didn’t actually make it to a post office until Friday. Poopy. That means the earliest he would get it would be today, more likely tomorrow or the next day.

I need to start packing, since I am moving, regardless of where to. I at least should be going through the stuff I’ve carted around in boxes since I moved from Florida six years ago and see if any of it is still important or if I can get rid of some of it. There is a good percentage of it that is books, and I never get rid of a book, I just had to get rid of a lot of my shelves when I moved and haven’t hit the right time/energy/money balance to get new ones put together. But the rest of it may just be crap.

Talked to Critter some last night, she was doing ok, and OtherGuy was rubbing her feet. I told her I couldn’t beat that from where I was (we were both at our own homes) because there wasn’t an "app for that" yet. She laughed. I told her to call if she wanted to and we both said good night.

Katamari Forever is kicking my backside. I can’t seem to complete the campfire mission at all, and I can’t get Eternal unlocked for the sprinkler mission, although I did finally manage to complete it, if only just. There is one other mission I’m having trouble getting Eternal unlocked on but I can’t remember which one it is. I think it’s the "Big As Possible" mission where you are rolling around the house and you have to get the Katamari up to 3m. Typically to unlock Eternal (in this game anyway) you have to hit somewhere between 1.5 and 2 times the minimum goal for the mission. Since I have yet to break 3.2m on that mission, the 4.5m -6m I think I need for Eternal seems very far off.

I miss not having a relationship going on. Even though Belle and I never did anything but talk dirty to each other, and not a lot of that, it was still fun. I find I’m a lot less of a stick in the mud when I’ve got someone else in my life.

I’ve got to get my taxes paid this week. I could wait until the fifteenth, since that’s the second payday in April, but I’m certain something will come up and blam! ToyMan is late with his taxes. Not a pretty prospect. Although I’m fairly certain there was at least one year in the late nineties I didn’t file at all and no one came after me, it’s best not to make a habit of it. Besides, they probably owed me money and don’t care I didn’t claim it. I’m going to send money orders off this year with the forms, that way there’s no "has it cleared or hasn’t it" drama. When I paid my 2007 taxes Georgia took six weeks to cash my check. WTF? I think it was 2007 anyway.

Was just getting caught up on one of my fave’s diaries. That got me to thinking, as she so often does.

I’m gonna miss not having K around. Even when I wasn’t sitting for her she was normally with us if Critter and I did something together on one of her days off. When Critter told K her father was moving she started freaking out, but it was only because she thought he was leaving all her furniture and toys. When Critter explained that he was taking all that too she was ok with it. Silly kid.

I’ve got to start working out, or at least modifying my food intake again. I’ve got to get a scale so I have something more concrete than how my pants feel that day to let me know if I’m losing weight or not. The good thing about all the places I looked at was that they are close enough in to town I can drive on over to the gym and do a quick workout before I come home every night after work. It’ll be easier to get a routine going if I do it on work nights, and I might even sleep better.
