Christmas Lights at the ToyHouse
Here we go…
These are interior shots, I couldn’t make the exterior ones come out right without a tripod. I guess I’ll have to get those at twilight or thereabouts.
Yes, the tree on the right has a whole section of lights out, it’s not a figment of your imagination. I’ll have to by a short strand to fill in the gap. I meant to do that last year but with the move and all I didn’t have the time or energy.
And to top it off these were taken with my Christmas present from my parents. All I asked for was the best digital camera they could find for $50, preferably at least six megapixels. So I ended up with a Nikon Coolpix S550 *and* a $50 Amazon.com gift certificate. Wow. They like me, they really like me!
Now my only question is why are the pics still blury like I used my crappy camera for them? I guess I’ll eventually have to get myself a digital SLR so I can get more control over my settings in marginal lighting conditions. I really used to rock with my 35mm SLR. It works great in better light though, I can really see a difference in the quality. And the file size. Takes forever to transfer the things to the computer, but I’ll get over it.
wow, you have two christmas trees? beautiful!
