Boring weekend

So, I spend most of my weekend reading the Twilight books, as mentioned in the previous entry. I may have to rent the second Breaking Dawn movie; I want to see if the humor translates to the screen.

Turns out Critter never actually saw Twilight with me, she fell asleep, as I was reminded today. I had lunch with her, by the way. That was fun. K spent the day with Critter’s aunt in the next town over. That’s a little weird since Critter knew I was off today, but I didn’t ask about it.

I finally heard back from the IRS about my taxes. I should get the refund by the end of this week. Yay!

The screen at work that tells us about our bonuses is off-line, which is good news: it means I’ll have a final number on it soon.

Being Human is getting really really dark this season.

I’m looking for a casual three-quarter length jacket to wear when I’m carrying since I plan on using a tactical (aka thigh) holster most of the time (open carry is legal in Georgia). Something similar to what Mal was wearing in the final scene in Serenity. Sorry for the size, but when I’m having to scavenge I have to take what I can get.

And I’m pretty well done for the night.
