Bonus Update

OK, I took my car to the shop and after about half an hour they called and told me it would be about three hundred dollars just for parts and by the by they don’t have them in stock. I told them to go ahead and order them, leave my door taken all apart to save the labor next time and give me a call when the parts come in.

Critter picked me up from the Ford place and we had breakfast at Sonic. It was a little chilly out so we ate in the car instead of a table. After breakfast we picked up my car and came back to my place to watch some borrowed DVD’s.

Lunch time rolled around and I decided since I needed to pick up my check anyway we could drive over the mountain and have lunch at her favorite restaurant, which she liked. It turns out that the $1100 was a "projection" and the final numbers came in at around $850, of which $350 went to taxes. GRRRR. So, I have an extra five hundred, and three hundred of it is promised to parts to fix the car, then I have to figure in labor so now I’m down to about one hundred dollars extra and I just remembered I need to replace my phone.

At least my regular salary is still there, even if I didn’t get to do the neat things I wanted to.
