Blizzard Watch? Whatever…

OK, It seems like it fell mostly to the south of us here. Even over at the store, where the local weatherman that everyone trusts said there’d be two to four inches of snow they got nothing. It’s just a little weird that I’m up here in the mountains where we normally get it first and not get anything at all.

Things with Nala seemed a little weird this weekend. Our text conversations just kept dying. That’s unusual for us.

Got a notice in my mailbox (when I finally checked it) that my Amazon stuff came but was too big to put in the box so they parked it at the post office and I have to go get it. Yay me. I’m really surprised it came this early, I wasn’t expecting it until this week sometime. So now instead of having a patch cable (I bought that at Lowe’s a few days ago) hanging off the back of my entertainment center’s network switch I’ll have a patch cable and a USB-Ethernet adapter. Now I just need the Wii to go with them…

Critter’s network is still giving her fits. I thought we had it fixed. I was going to look at it yesteday but time got away from us and I never was able to get over there. If I hadn’t told her I’d set it up for her I don’t know if I’d bother. It might have been easier for her to spend the extra sixty bucks and let the local service provider do it for her.

RYN – I think Shane said the Tivo he has to get to go with the TV costs $500, and the TV itself is $1500-$1700. Of course what he says and what he actually ends up spending could be two different things! We already have a Tivo but I guess it won’t work on an HD TV. The new one will let us watch something while taping something else, which we can’t do now. That will be nice. Yes, Tivo rocks!
