And so it begins…

I spent the entire morning today doing the overnighter’s work because they were all in “more important” areas of the store last night. More important than Toys during the Christmas shopping season? Whatever.

Then I spent the entire afternoon getting ready for Friday’s sale. Several of us were out back pulling sale iems out of their shipping boxes and putting them on stackers and wrapping them. The intent being that we can just pull them out on Friday morning , cut the wrap and run like hell to get out of the way.

Gotta do the family dinner thing tomorrow. The parents are actually in town instead of at the sister’s house, so I have to go eat roast beast instead of my normal lasagna. My grandmother, aunt and uncle are here as well. It’s my dad’s brother. I haven’t seen them in three or four years and it’ll take all of ten minutes to catch up. Anyone out there watch “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”? My aunt and uncle make Oz seem chatty. Really.

Not sure I’ll get an entry in tomorrow or Friday. I get off around 16:00 tomorrow, go to dinner, put up the tree (a sixteen footer) and have to get to sleep and be rested cause I’m back at work at 04:00 to get ready for the sale. Yay me.

Going to bed now. Had an idea for something, but it evaporated. Maybe I’ll get it back while I’m sleeping.
