An alternative to cough syrup

Crown Royal. Seriously. Slept like a baby all night long.

And I’m not talking half a liter here, I had maybe two finger’s worth in a regular rocks glass, straight. Of course since I rarely partake of liquor it made me a bit loopy at first too. I kind of wish the Xbox 360 had a "record" feature for its games since I was playing Cars at the time. I’m fairly certain it impaired poor Lightning McQueen’s abilities…

Had K today, even though I don’t feel well. It was that or Critter missing work and she really can’t afford it from a financial or a disciplinary standpoint. And by that I mean she’s perilously close to getting written up for it. I should stop talking now.

And no I haven’t had any Crown today. Yet. Might have some tonight and hit the sack early. I’m getting my brakes fixed, finally, and by a professional to boot. It’s gonna run about $300. Poopy. At least I’ll be able to stop at the bottom of the mountain now though. It’s been a little rough not having any.

Going to go watch some Doctor Who and munch on some left over breadsticks from a Little Caesar’s trip earlier today with K.
