A little better off [EDIT]

Ok, so it looks like I’m going to be filing an insurance claim after all. I’m looking at at least fourteen days without the car and a minimum $1200 repair bill. Oy. The good news is that I have rental car coverage so that’s going to be taken care of.

Also, as recorded on the morning notes (which have to be kept forever or until the store burns down) I was "coyote late" this morning. Geez.

As an aside, my new nickname at work is now "Road Runner" since it was a coyote that I took out. That’s gonna get a little old, but it is kinda funny, even I have to admit that.

*Beep Beep!*

[EDIT]

Forgot to mention that I made it in to work today, but I was four hours late. I’ve got a rental car, which is the SE version of my own car. It freaks me out when I start it though. Since it’s an automatic it obviously only has two pedals but I invariably have a moment of panic when I put my foot down to depress the clutch and can’t find it. It’s got all the bells and whistles that mine doesn’t. We did well on the TSOE, scoring an 84, which is good for the first one of the year when the review process is always very strict. That puts us third out of thirteen in the district, which isn’t where we want to be but it’s better than the ten stores behind us. 😉

What a freak accident. Where I’m from it’s cows and deer that usually mess up the vehicles. Not a big problem where I live now. We mostly have to watch out for drunks walking in front of cars. Hope it continues to be hassle free for you
