Growing baby
Just got home from a quick visit to the hospital, and actually have my car back for the moment. I’ve let my daughter have it so they could run around as needed, but I have to be at work at 7 tomorrow morning, and a car is a good thing to have. Ryker is now over 12 pounds and instead of looking like a baby from some war-torn country, he now has chubby cheeks and even some chub on his little thighs. He’s still very small for his age, but he’s gained length and head circumference, and is using his arms and legs a lot more and vocalizing quite a bit and smiling a lot. He’s so cute. We’re hoping he’ll catch up to big brother Reese in short time. They left their camera at home, so there’s no new pics of him. If I had known that, I’d’ve taken my camera over, but we’re also hopeful they’ll be home soon and they can get some pics of him. It’s so good to see how he’s doing. Still no root cause, and I still wish they’d send him to IWK to find out why he’s missing the critical enzymes, but I can’t override the doctors.
This is the last day of my four days off, and I think I probably have a fairly busy week at work starting tomorrow. I have to work this coming Saturday morning, but that’s okay. I also have to arrange an oil change for my car one of these days. Always something.
*happy dance* Go, Ryker! :DI just had my oil changed. Was told that at 20 years old (actually 21 this month), my car’s due to get its timing belt replaced, so that’s on my To Do list.

Good to hear Ryker is progressing. Look forward to pics!
