Lightening quick

tis the new year.
I wonder what will happen this year?  Actually 2010 ended up being a bit of a non-discript year really.
But compared to the year before, it was a welcome year with happiness and calm
I guess it was good in that I got a great job, and I got my mimi mini..

I have moved house now, and have just got out of the pool, it raining here, but lucky for me its still 29 degrees, so a showery swim is most excellent.

Work of course is flat out busy with holidays and children everywhere.

Mum took 4 days in NZ to book her ticket back to FNQ.
She is in a depressive state, and keeps reminding me how many days it is to go until she gets back.
I can’t blame her.  I know I felt the same way when I was in NZ, after living in the tropics for a while, you forget the cold, the endless sheets of grey, everything just seems to be grey in Chch.

I don’t ever plan on going back.

After being at SMPD for only 3 months, I have already accued 4 weeks in holidays.
I plan on taking a week in Feb and going to Sydney to see Caedy.
I can stay at the Westin for only $50 a night, and get 70% off food and beverage.
But i’m not sure if I will… For some reason I can’t decide.

Mum gets back on 9th Feb, maybe I should wait till she gets back and take time off at the end and leave her to look after the house and Mojo, and go down then…

Also going to Melb in June for 2 weeks.
I will save and take a couple of months off.. Its time I did a decent holiday.
Overseas holiday…

Nothing else.
