Whacking Stick

The house feels so empty! Jay was working late last night and didn’t get home until 10pm, so I had the entire house to myself. It is going to take time getting used to the emptiness. But with my sister due to move in with her new born in late November, I’m gong to have to lavish what little peace and quite I have. Also I’m not used to having no mess to clean up…

I got my response back from my studies… all the effort I put into complaining about it and he sent back a three line response saying… “Fill it in”… FILL IT IN WITH WHAT YOU USELESS MAN! That was the whole point of sending it back to you in the first place you twit. Grr! So now I have to go out of my way to find alternate study material.

I have my 1 year performance review today, after postponing it since mid September, he has finally decided to get around to writing me a new duty statement, I’m looking over it at the moment, and there is no way I’m signing it without at least a $10-15p/h pay rise. He should be open to it, too bad if he isn’t. Too bad for me if he doesn’t agree!

I’m not allowed to get a cat. This is because when Nâ moves in with Mackenzie, he [the cat], may decide to sleep on it. So the agreement I made with my mother was, she looks after my sister’s current cat [Sanchez], and I don’t get one at all. So in lieu of getting a cat for my birthday, I’m now getting tickets to see The Bangles :~P

I’m going to be up in Sydney with weekend to see Super, we’ll be staying at his new place in Alexandria, all I have to do now is figure out how to drive there, getting into the city isn’t an issue, but I don’t have to go that far in. Hmmm, I’ll figure it out. I’m looking forward to reliving old times and trashy moments, the humidity and pollution and the homeless bums scabbing money or cigarettes. I’ll have to bring my whacking stick.

I should go and do some work now.

When Elton John signed up for a cameo in the movie “The Country Bear’s” he got quite a shock when he realised it wasn’t the “bears” he was expecting them to be.
