Sigh *Post Date Edit*

It’s so exciting! I know it’s a work in progress and it’s just an exercise on centroidal axis, but it’s the first drawing that actually looks like something! I have to finish up detailing, welding marks, some dimensioning, parts lists etc. But you get the idea. I will post the final result come Monday (I plan on working on it on Sunday).

Mmm all should bask in its gloriousness.

I had to format the hard drive and I need to reinstall Autocad as the RC for WIN7 was up and I had to pay (ew) for the real deal. Of course you can’t just enter a serial number, you have to format the HD and reinstall.

We spoke last night after class and I’m very excited about tomorrow! I can’t help but feel awkward. I think I like this guy and I’m not sure why. Well I am sure why. But I can’t. But I can, but it’s too soon. WAY to soon, I can’t possibly get involved with someone so soon after a relationship of 5 years. Can I? Possibly, but not very sensible. Oh why is it so confusing? Of course it could all be solved so simply by him not being interested, which I suspect isn’t the case. BUT if he were smart, he’d say so and get it out of the way for my sake. Friends. Friends with benefits. I need to read my notes. No, no I’m not ready and that’s where this nagging feeling is coming from, but I know I have to try. What am I talking about… just go and have some fun and stop over analysing your feelings. You’re two people engaged in a… Sojourn? No, we are two urbane individuals on a peregrination in amiable concordance. Nothing more.

So we went on our date… amiable concordance if you wish. And it was good.
Oh who am I kidding it was great! OMG!
We met at one and walked over to the Maritime Museum to see the Mythical Creatures Exhibit and might I say worst.exhibit.ever. Seriously terrible! It consisted of half a dozen Xeroxed pieces of paper, shitty artwork and come crepe paper decorations. Fortunately there was an actual maritime museum that has decent exhibits.
It took about an hour to walk through and then it was all over.

We walked for a while and ended up at Circular Quay. As I’ve never been to Manly, we caught the ferry over to Manly and went to the beach. We also took a little bush trek to the local look out.

This was my favourite part, we found a nice spot and sat and watching the ocean for a couple hours. Slowly moving closer together, finding excuses to touch eachothers hand or brush away a a bit of stray hair… it really was nice.
Then it started raining. Yes cliché I know.

We made it back to the main Warf and with half an hour to spare sat ato Max Brenner and had the nicest Dutch hot chocolate… I’ve never had Max Brenner before but I am a total convert. It’s better than sex. Seriously.

Oh and Josh isn’t his real name. I can’t pronounce his real name, apparently he adopted Josh because we Australians simply can’t pronounce it properly – I did try several times, and yeah. Not so simple.

We parted company at the train station, I declined his invite back to his place.
Instead he is coming here tomorrow afternoon for homemade vegetarian pizza and movies.
