What day is it?
I was called in again today. I’m not surprised. Closing two nights in a row has been a pleasant change of pace, as opposed to the stress of keeping everything going in the morning. I, in fact, did not learn line last night. We were complete decimated yesterday morning. All our pastries ran out by 11 AM. Angie started making more in the middle of the day. I’ve never seen that happen before. I came in at 2 PM, and it was pretty much my job to straighten up bakery. And I did so quite well, I might add.
After closing last night, Erik and I found Liz waiting by his car. We chatted for a while, then fetched Dan. Erik and I had a craving for White Castle that we had to satisfy. I’m still eating leftover jalapeno burgers. I dare say they’re spicier the day after.
I will admit I woke up with White Castle stomach this morning. It was bound to happen eventually.
It’s a pity I was called in. When I got in, Melissa said she was thinking about calling me to see if we could do stuff. Oh well. Maybe another day.
I again wore Angie’s key all night. I almost shouldn’t do that, I’m making it so Angie doesn’t even need to do anything out on register; I’m making her obsolete.
I didn’t officially take a break. I had food, yes. But I was also watching the front. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving this n00b by himself. Too responsible for my own good, I tell you.
Must remind Mike that he owes me four and a half hours of overtime. I’m far too nice to him. I could have just worked Saturday without saying I was close to 40 hours. But, I’d prefer to keep him as GM. So long as I get the overtime, I don’t care how it’s counted.
I finally started playing WarCraft III today. I was really getting into it. I saved little Timmy. And then Panera called. *smirks*
I think about work too much. Oh well.
Oh. Have I mentioned that we’re going to Dorney Park this Saturday? Ashley’s going for chorus-related things. So it was Erik’s idea to go and meet up with her eventually. *purrs* I’m excited about doing all the rides first thing in the morning before anybody’s there. Well, we’ll see. If the temp’s okay, I’m willing to do the water park.
Train of thought ended. I’ll go away now.
My tongue’s too sensitive for burgers such as those. Tra la.

You know you can buy frozen White castle bugers and heat them up whenever you want… just what Timmy needs- White castle. And you do think/talk a lot about work, probably because it’s what buys your toys. =) -<3 Brooke

I used to live not quite 20 minutes driving time from Dorney Park. Never went there, but suddenly you reminded me of “home”.

RYN: Mostly, I was afraid of my stalker. At least if I used pseudonyms, she couldn’t stumble upon my diary and know whose it was. After that…consistency. I always used the pseudonyms so as not to confuse people. 🙂
