I had a final today. I went to it. I was done. And I didn’t quite feel like going home.

I drove by Cliff’s. His mom said he hasn’t been there in a few days.

I went my Liz’s. No cars in her driveway.

I went by Erik’s. I actually caught him on his way out. He looked like he had just woken up. (He had.) He said he hadn’t been able to find either of them in a while. He was on his way to take care of his sick girlfriend, so I let him be.

Well, I tried. Karma doesn’t seem to be in my favor this month.
