TimmyBurgers.
I realized I had a craving for burgers, so I decided to make some. I remembered the reason I stopped relying on burgers: beef is high in fat. Solution? Turkey. Except, I don’t like all-turkey burgers. So I bought two packages of ground turkey and one package of ground beef of similar weights. Two eggs, some bread crumbs, onion powder, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and some crushed red pepper. That’s all.
I did neglect to factor in how cold the meat would be. Nonetheless, it was fun handling the meat in my hands. I think I was able to make eight in all out of them. I threw two on a pan to eat, as my mom said she’d have one, and tossed the rest in the freezer.
Man, why even bother going out to eat? That’s the best burger I’ve had in a long time. I did make sure to leave it on a little longer, as turkey requires a bit more time. But, I know that since beef is fattier, they’ll overpower the turkey. Something like that. It really tasted completely awesome.
