The Craving.

I was hungry. And I wanted White Castle.

I told my mom I was going on a White Castle run. She asked me to get her two jalapeno burgers.

I drove all of 90 seconds to my White Castle, walked in side, bypassing the people sitting in the drive-thru, and placed my order for eight jalapeno burgers.

I received my jalapeno burgers and exited the building. It just so happens that Angie was sitting in the drive-thru right outside the door. *smirks* She asked if I was working tomorrow. I said no, rare day off. “See how long that lasts!” She said she wouldn’t be in tomorrow so she couldn’t call me in. It’s her sister’s prom. *nodnod*

It’s actually a really good thing I won’t be in tomorrow. Some people above Scott are going to be in tomorrow for an inspection of sorts. I know their names and relative positions, but I don’t feel like sharing.

White Castle is hitting the spot. I may have tomorrow off, but I think I’ll keep to myself. I was staring at the schedule for Saturday, and I’m wondering where exactly I’ll be. I noticed a shortage of morning cashiers. Trish would cream herself if she had me being Timmy. I mean, watching coffees and otherwise making life easy for her. Melissa will probably be pissy because she doesn’t like working weekends. She seriously needs to lighten up. I love the weekend line people.

I’ve known for a while that this guy “Phil” was coming back. Everybody I asked told me that he’s “the man”. Okay, one person told me he’s slow on line. Regardless. I met him last weekend. And I must concur. Phil is the man.

Just. Had to mention that.
