Sunday Assessment for 12-26-10
Wants:
- Play NBA Jam.
- Play Sims2.
- Play Dragon Quest IX.
- Post Decade in Review Pictorial, or whatever it is I want to call it.
- Read more Starting Strength.
- Rock my first two Starting Strength workouts.
- Cuddle with the girl.
- Buy a composition book to write down my starting strength workouts. (I have five years worth of notecards – it’s getting unwieldly.)
- Continue getting up around 7-8 AM every day.
- Give Linda the recipe for molasses cookies. (co-manager of mine)
- Take “before” pictures for Starting Strength. Did I mention I’m starting that? Ha ha.
Needs:
- Change oil in car. Yeah. Still.
- Clean room. Yeah. Still. Maybe vacuum, too.
- Tell boss availability for spring. It’ll take two seconds to write down when my classes are.
What I’ve accomplished:
- Drove to the girls’ work to drop off her DSi XL, her most prized gift.
- Didn’t read all of Starting Strength, but parts of it.
- Definitely loving Dragon Quest IX.
- Playing Sims in spurts, but no picture entries so far. Maybe later tonight?
- Played GoldenEye with the girl earlier this week. I love the rocket launcher.
- Took melatonin every night except last night. Been really good about going to bed on time.
It’s SUNDAY, and I remembered! Yay! Making the time to really love the video games I have, as odd as that might sound. Oddly miss the girl. I like having her around, even if we’re not doing a common activity.
Looking forward to Starting Strength. Been spending a lot of time on fetlife. It’s like facebook for perverts.
It’s snowing. I like to let the weather surprise me the way some girls let their period surprise them. Except, “Oh look, I’m menstruating” it is more like “Oh look, a nor`easter.”
Surprise periods are the worst.
Warning Comment
admittedly the browsing capabilities are still in the experimental phase. and its not exactly fun to browse being as everything has to be done with the arrow keys bc there is no mouse and its not touchscreen. also there’s no color. but i didn’t want it for browsing. i wanted it for ebook reading.
