Sentimental Weiners.

Maybe tonight I’ll bother sleeping in my own bed. The bed I made before I left for Minnesota so I’d have something clean and comfy to snuggle into. I almost want to take another shower before retiring.

Got in yesterday and spent most of the evening playing catch-up. Heck, I’m still catching up on at least one person. I like to take my time and actually read everything. Or, just not bother at all.

Randomness struck last night and I ended up not being here. Sometime around midnight, Marissa asked me to come over. (I met Marissa while working at Panera.) I couldn’t help but jump at the chance to get up and do something. She said she was home alone for once, with her parents, and two siblings not around.

Now, don’t get any funny ideas. I met two of her minor guy friends. I got along rather well with the minors. She half-heartedly asked me to bring some liquor, but I quickly said no. I don’t drink two days in a row. That, and I’d rather not bring liquor if I don’t know the company. For the best.

Went to bed late, woke up around 10 AM. Left sometime past 11 AM and headed to Cliff’s, as we agreed on heading to Hot Dog Johnny’s for some weiners. Showed up at Cliffs and saw Liz’s car there. Liz was still sleeping, so I started playing Revenge of the Sith. What a button-masher. Not a bad game, but still.

Got Hot Dogs. Cliff was reminded of all the times he’s been there in the past. It’s a great special-occasion place.

A drizzly day. A day you could easily stay inside, but a day that can be enjoyed if you drive out and go somewhere. Calming.
