No point in killing yourself if you don’t have to.
I had gotten the add/drop form. I had filled it out. All I needed was a signature. Class had ended. I figured it best to do it then rather than guessing when he’d be in his office.
“Can I bail out?”
“Of course you can at any time. Why are you taking this course?”
“Morbid curiosity.”
He gave me the funniest look. Must not be too many people willing to take Calc III for their own amusement.
What was it he said? Damn. Don’t stress yourself if you don’t have to? Something like that.
I told him he’s easily the best math teacher I’ve ever had. I’m serious. He’s good. It’s just the material’s too hard. He said to me, “Flattery will get you everywhere.” He does have a sense of humor. Wish I had him for Calc I! *laughs*
I have my schedule for next semester ready, and there should be no Calc III variant wildcard. Hmm. That’s what I can do tonight while I’m celebrating! Well, in addition to this lovely bottle of orange soda and the spiral I’m making.
i still have yet to have spiral mac. you should make me some, sometime. haha.

I’m confused in Algebra… I’m having a hard time with the humor of this entry. 😉 So did you drop it? It would seem that you did, but for some reason it surprises me. “Morbid curiosity…” haha. That IS funny.

Ha. Math is related to all things morbid, anyway.

Man. Once again, I am so freaking proud of you. This is absolutely one hundred percent not even close to being considered a “failure”, just in case any part of your brain was feeling that way. You recognized your limitations, recognized what was healthiest for you, and made the best decision given the circumstances. SO incredibly mature, so grown up. Really awesome. Good deal. : D

Orange soda rocks! Glad you got rid of a headache. Math gives me ulcers.
