Lifting for 6-24-9
I had to sit through a “Leading as the Manager in Charge” class yesterday. So boring. Actually, it wasn’t that bad. It’s just that I had a splitting headache that grew worse with each hour. It didn’t go away until I came home and took a nap. I am so not used to headaches, I’m such a weenie when I get one.

Workout II
Deadlift:
5 @ 135, 185 lbs
BB Shoulder Press:
5 @ 45, 65 lbs
4, 3, 2 @ 85 lbs
5, 4 @ 75 lbs
Pull-ups:
5, 5, 4, 3, 3 @ BW
I managed to hurt myself putting the plates on the bar. I mean, what the hell. I did my bodyweight warm-up of squats and lunges, so I’m really thrown off. Left inside of my leg, feels like. It’s subsiding, it just caught me offguard. I’ve never tweaked anything putting plates on the bar. I did my two warm-ups and decided to scrap deadlifting.
I feel so much weaker. Man, screw straying from strength protocols. I’ve practically lost all the strength gains I managed in the entire past year. What the fuck. It feels so futile at times.
Looking forward to spending some time in the sun tomorrow with the girl.

i thought you meant food plates on a breakfast bar. i was like ‘whoa, that’s not good’. but you sounded much more masculine when i realized you were talking about weight thingies.

Ok, so I know you are trying to build your muscles, I need an effective way to break mine down. They are just getting too big, not running has not really helped, got any ideas? I’m not really interested in trying the cocaine diet!
