First workout in two weeks. First time I’ve done THIS workout in.. over half a month. That said, after all this wonderful rest I’ve had over the past two weeks, I got stronger. I resist rest a lot in favor of just plowing forth. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. But it’s nice knowing that a week of rest causes gains rather than atrophy.

Uhhhh.

I may be switching gears in a week or two after I feel out my strength gains from the past month or two. I playfully asked the girl what she’d like me to improve on for my body, and she said abs. I’ve been at this for five years, self-motivation generally isn’t a problem. So doing something for someone else seems just damned fine to me. It’s been a while since I cut bodyfat, but I know how to do it. I’m not going to be as aggressive as I was last time. I want to retain all of my strength. I’ll figure something out combining heavy lifting, high-intensity intervals, and steady state cardio. And maybe a vanity day for my ass and my arms.

Hey, partial squats, lunges, and RDLs aren’t the first thought when people think of a vanity day. Snicker, snicker.

I’m sitting at around 164 lbs right now. Which is fine, honestly. Just need to drop my bodyfat, then focus on vanity areas. Come warm weather, I’m going to look fucking awesome.
