I was really lazy through my warm-ups. Took my time. That’s the way to do it. Before my top set, the head trainer asked me if I’d used the pull-up handles in the new squat racks. Hadn’t gotten around to it. He said he always sees me doing pull-ups. Boosted my ego. Top set went just fine, and like in previous weeks, didn’t catch my breath until the end of my workout. Top set of eleven? No idea how long it’ll take for my 5-rep days to actually come down to single digits.
I almost used a straight grip for my top set, because my straight grip has gotten so strong. I do all my warm-ups with an overhand grip, as well as my accessory work.
I was feeling masochistic, so I did “more” afterwards. My hip abductors have been feeling a little weird, so I did some sets for that in a machine. And after that, I did some one-legged RDLs holding a 25 lb plate. So weird how I have better balance in my left leg. Blame it on a childhood broken bone. Could barely walk upstairs out of the weight area.
Much disappointedly, the quiznos Candi and I just started going to closed. That makes TWO quiznos in the vicinity that have closed recently. What the hell?
all of the ones that i know are gone too. where are quiznos going?
