How To Make My Trademark Symbol.

I am not TimmyTM. I am also not TimmyTim, though some ladies have called me that in the past. I am Timmy. Here’s how to be an ostentatious goober like me.

Hold down alt and type 0153 on the numpad. Congratulations, you just created your first trademark symbol. Other notables: 164 = ñ, 130= é. (If you’re on a laptop, you’re screwed. Build a real computer, like Roxanne Covalent.)

How did I discover this? GOTO your friendly neighborhood charmap. (Type charmap into the run prompt. Yeah, it’s around the accessories folder, but I’m lazy.) For most symbols, when you select it, if you look on the bottom-right corner of the window you’ll see “keystroke: ..” and then an alt – number combination. Some do, some don’t. It’s all really quite simple, as I only use a few.
