Happy Thoughts.

Tossing around an idea in my head, I asked myself, “So when have you been happy in the past?”

I know I have. We’ve all had moments that were better than others. I just seem at a loss to recall them at the moment. Something, anything, to remind me that there’s such a thing as better. Something to meditate on, as I still don’t know what to do with myself these days beyond keeping my feet moving. And I fail at that, sometimes.

Aww, Timmy. You seem depressed… I don’t recall any either right now that I think of it. None where my life was truly perfect and I was happy all the way around. I actually don’t think there was one? I hope you start feeling better Timmy. Read those notes above your bed OK?

Look for “things in the moment” that are good—small things do as well as big things…

*hugs* I heart Timmy!!!!!

I thought you meant perfect. I think that at any time in your life, even the happiest, that there is always something better. Something that can improve. No one IS perfect, but haven’t you noticed most strive for it? It’s human nature.

ryn: it seems to me men are going to be immature whether they are my age or older. I don’t mean to say that when I’m 30 and date someone my age they are gonna be immature. Most men who are 30 and have an attraction to me at this age… are gonna be childish. Haha, don’t worry, I learned all of this after Michael. He was a damn good lesson.

THink about what makes you happy NOW, and how it coincides with times in the past that you were happy.

I’m not happy either! In fact, everything seems to be going against me right now. 🙁

I’ve seen you happy, I know I have. You come across as someone who thinks a lot and often they’re melancholy types of people, because thinking = sadness. But I know I have seen you chirpy and good often.
