Fact of the Day for 2-12-7
I know a 58 year old guy who pulled 405 lbs for a double today.

And it’s not like Mahler’s been lifting since he was young. He only started a couple years ago, after he watched his father waste away. I really believe now that we don’t get old because of our age, but because we stop being young. We do less, and our bodies atrophy. That’s one of the health-related reasons I’m lifting right now. Have a base, a foundation. With all the heavy lifting and milk, I have to have solid bones by now. If you’re ever in an accident, if you’re in shape, you have a higher chance of surviving with a better quality of life than if you were just a couch potato.
What’s that phrase, “Get busy living, or get busy dying”? I don’t even remember what that’s from. Don’t know about you, but I’m not being a couch potato when I get old.
I’m scared of deadlifting. I think I need a personal training session. Ran for 40 minutes tonight. It hurts so good.

Thanks for the pointers. I was kinda hinting at you to drive over and come to the gym with me. I found this site, which made me think of you struggling with eating. Maybe this can help? http://www.beyondlowcarb.net/index.php?PHPSESSID=24069b7077e1a3b7c57b56053bcfe405&topic=4535.0 There are quite a few recipes that look appealing, like cottage cheese waffles
