The problem with working out “with” someone is that you end up meeting up, doing your separate workouts, meeting up again, and then leaving. Nonetheless, my being covered in sweat better have been proof enough to Becki of what I do. :: smiles ::

Everything was almost easier. Almost.

I accidentally grabbed a 40 lb and a 45 lb dumbbell. And get this: I didn’t notice until the third set. Naturally, since I NOTICED, that 45 lb dumbbell suddenly felt a lot heavier. Amazing what you can do when you don’t notice the weight. I’ll be careful of that next time.

Otherwise, a fantastic workout today. No adjustments I want to make.

Sounds good! I am trying to get the motivation to start working out every day again. I am such a procrastinator. But I know once I get started I will be good to go!

Just for the record, I do get exercise. I walk every day, usually twice, and I am involved in a lot of physical activity at work. But…I used to RUN everyday and WORK OUT. Exercising and working out are not the same thing to me. I WANT BIG MUSCLES! Well, not too big…and I don’t want to lose ALL of my butt!

I want to run exercise everyday and work out every other day, by my definitions…

You answered part of the questions I didn’t ask…that helps!

Sumo…when I was little (like 5 or 6) I told people I wanted to be a sumo wrestler when I grew up…and didn’t understand why they laughed at me. Anyway, you are awesome. You really know your shit…and I don’t have to tell you that. Thanks for your help! I wish someone around here was as motivated (or even half as motivated) as you are!

I don’t know if I would call it ranting, maybe informing, but still cute. I hate when people use the excuse “I don’t have time”. I work, go to school, have a 6-month old, and still have time. I have no excuse. I also don’t believe that people are too overweight to exercise. Like you said, 45 minutes a day of increased heart rate, doing SOMETHING.

oh. well, there you go. now you’ll never forget me again 😀
