Exerbabble for 4-19-6

I slept good last night, as should be obvious from the dreaming. I went to bed around midnight, and got up around nine. I wasn’t hungry at all, but I had some whey powder with milk first thing. Something to get into the system. Maybe around eleven I bothered getting dressed and oatmealing myself. My agenda for the day was to work out, get something from the café, do some C++ and other homework, maybe some spanish if I’m up to it. And hopefully run into the ladies at some point.

I love the ladies.

Today’s workout:

    Decline Press: 2×5 @ 105 lbs
    Bent-over Row: 4×6 @ 90 lbs
    Romanian Deadlift: 4×6 @ 145 lbs
    Crunches: 3×12 @ 3 kg
    Overhead Squat: 3×6 @ 55 lbs
    Standing Calf Raises: 4×6 @ 340 lbs
    Arnold Presses: 3×9 @ 25 lbs
    Pull-up: 4×6 @ BW

Figured I should put the higher intensity things first. Or something.

Something didn’t feel right when I was doing decline presses. I felt more of a struggle than usual just getting the bar off the rack. I’m thinking I’ll have to rotate which bench I’m doing.

I wasn’t getting complete range of motion with my rows, but I still felt it in my biceps. Towards the top of the repetition, it hits your back more. *nodnod*

I’m going to have to alternate grips or something, if I intend to keep increasing the weight when I’m doing Romanian Deadlifts. It’s not my ass that gives out first, it’s my grip that feels like the bar is going to slip out of my hand.

Overhead squats drain me, even though it’s not that much weight.

I continued the timing with my calf raises. Exhale on the concentric, hold the raise for one more breath, then inhale on the eccentric and repeat. Definitely feel it more now.

Made more sense to hit 3×9 first, rather than try for 3×10 again. I should definitely get it in five days.

I tried an alternated grip for pull-ups. Like, right hand overhand, left hand underhand. Then for the next set, switch. That was just the boost I needed. I’ll definitely try that the next time I do deadlifts.

I showered nakie with no incidents. I do need to clip my toenails. I think I’ll do some supplementary pubic plucking, shower tomorrow morning, and clip my nails. My balls really do look awesome. :: beams with testicular pride ::

I got myself a tuna salad and provolone on rye, lettuce, tomato, mayo. The ladies weren’t around, I figured maybe they had vacated already. It’s a really nice day out, and something in me said, “I should eat outside.” I walk outside and Colleen’s right there, talking to someone. She’s a social bunny. I walked her slowly to class, as she stated that she wasn’t in a hurry, then walked back to the ourdoor concrete tables.

(Someone just came up to me and asked me if I’m in his history class. I responded that I’m not taking history this semester. How the hell can you mistake me for someone else? How many scrawny white boys with black curly hair and a fedora are there? None as cute as me, I know.)

Just before finishing, the wind knocked my plate up and out, splaying chips across the table. I was amused. I put my shirt back on (Hey, it’s a nice day and I’M SEXY) and fetched the plate, as I’m in no interest in being an accessory to littering. I considered my next move, and came into the library to write this. I think I’ll sit outside some more and … do whatever comes to mind. I think I’ll sit with my back to the sun this time. Feels nice, no? I do burn, eventually. I’ll be fine. ; )
