I had some motivational issues prior to getting to the gym. I’m definitely going to take a pair of workouts off soon, I need to recharge. It’s funny how I look forward to my lower days more than my upper days.

I contemplated taking out the damn high pulls, because they seem to take a lot of energy out of me. But I decided to just grunt it out. Shoulder presses fell off, as I expected to. Maybe they’ll shoot up next time, maybe not. I have no problem squeaking out reps. Bent-over rows were brutal. I suspect I’ll be rowing 60 lbs for the last workout. I tried doing funky chickens at 25 lbs, but I could barely L-Raise the damn weight up, so I quickly lowered it.

Added weight to the first set of dips. All of five pounds. I like doing them weighted, I find it helps center me more. I thought I did better at close-grip bench presses, but apparently I just matched what I did last time. Oh well. Cable curls saw some improvement over last time. I’m insistent I do them without body english.

Adjustments: I’m banking that my shoulder presses will rebound. Or I’ll get a rep here and a rep there. I should be able to get those bent-over rows at 8/10/12. Gah, that’s a lot of weight. I’ll add weight to the second set of dips. Does not matter that the third isn’t up to specs, I wanna add weight! Everything else stays the same.
