Stayed up late by accident. Whoops. Always happens when I have “nothing” to do in the morning. Not sure how I feel about it, a little uneasy. Power must have went out last night, as my clocks were flashing, so I had no idea what time it was.

Workout went okay. I’m safe to push my deadlifts a little more. More or less matched my upper body workout. Not particularly worried, as I’m going more for size than pure strength. Well, going for strength for deadlifts, but I’m utilizing low volume to give more attention to my upper body.

Added weight to high pulls. Which made it harder. It sounds like the obvious, but. High pulls are an explosive movement, the limiting factor is how much intensity you want to put into it. Last time, I could finish the lateral raises with no problem. This time, more difficult.

I just didn’t feel that energetic today, so I stopped with just the core of my workout. Maybe it’s the fact that it is winter. You know, body wanting to hibernate. After I showered, I sat in the sauna for a few minutes. That felt awesome. I highly recommend laying naked in a hot sauna to anybody that needs to A. relax and B. feel warm.
