I melatonin-ed myself to sleep last night, to ensure I’d be rested. Felt fine waking up, much better than I did last night. But I wasn’t entirely in the mood to lift. But I went anyway. This seems to be my least favorite day. The high-rep day goes faster, and the low-rep day is a lot of fun. This is just grueling and hard for me.

Felt completely lackluster squatting. I felt like I had no energy. I had my cup of oatmeal this morning, what do you want from me?

Lowered the deadlift/shrug weight 30 pounds. My god, what a difference. My heartrate was up, and I was breathing pretty heavy, but I didn’t lose it. 155 lbs feels SO much lighter than 185 lbs. My hips were way too high, but that just seems to be how my body likes to deadlift. Whatever.

I hate bulgarian split squats.

Had a chemistry exam this morning. I haven’t had the chance to study for it. In fact, I think I decided I wouldn’t bother studying. I think I aced it. I recall one problem where I had no idea what it was actually saying, but I noticed some units. So I did some ratios and got a unit that was consistent with the answers. (Ha ha, multiple choice.) I find it absolutely hilarious when I can do the work right and not even be able to tell what the answer actually means.

My hair is still wet, and in pigtails. Faith commented yesterday how knotted my hair is. (Which wrought the comment, “You’re such a knotty boy.” Say it out loud.) So I spent some time in the shower really getting my fingers through the back. I do take pride in my hair, you know.

I find it to be ugsomely warm out. It makes me uneasy. Especially with the clouds overhead and the wind picking up. :: smiles ::
