Evening of 2-22-7
I’m up for giving a speech tomorrow in Public Speeching. Just a narrative, 3-5 minutes.
Every time I rehearse it, it comes out differently. Well, at least I’m not memorizing everything. I have the basic run-through of what I’m going to say, but. Yeah. We’re pretty much forced to have notecards on us, but I really don’t want to actually look at them. They’re there if I get stuck, or need inspiration. The thing with closings is that to even use a closing line, you have to lead up to it. If it’s different every time, how am I supposed to lead up to it.
Oh well. Here’s to screwing up in front of your peers! Heh.

My plan is to pretend I’m confident, and look people in the eyes for a reaction. Then put my balls in their mouths. Yes.
At least you’ve got a plan. =)
Warning Comment
Confidence is largely “fake it until you make it.”
