*snickers* I jest. Elite Force looks great at 1280 x 1024. Without a single skip, as expected for a game it’s age. NHL2002 was one of the few games Lisa couldn’t handle at full-speed. That will change.

Next paycheck will bring a wave of games.

Also. The hard drive I bought was going to be the boot drive. But, i couldn’t get windows xp to install to it. Apparently, it’s a pain in the ass to boot from a serial ata drive. So whatever, I just reformated my old OS partition and will simply use the new hard drive as storage. Even though it’s smaller than my old 100 gig hard drive, I somehow doubt I’ll fill 80 gigs without direct connect.

In other words, I don’t need another hard drive. Next upgrade will be new CD drives. Damn, those old things need to be scrapped.

After tomorrow, I have two days in a row off. *purrs*

And I still have a lot of customization to do. Now if only I could get the order of the drive letters right. There’s a trick to tweaking that, I forget what it is.

If you figure out the Serial ATA boot problem, let me know. THe last iteration of my comp was serial ATA, but when I went to do a clean re-install, the computer freaked out entirely,and refused to let me do anything until I gave up serial ATA. I now have three harddrives doing nothing, because I couldn’t figure out what my new problem was. Strange, since I had a serial ATA RAID going on

efortlessly when I first changed mobos.It’s like the ancient gods of Rome, punishing me for my arrogance.

Two days off in a row? Wow. Aside from Roxanne… who is going to keep you company? 🙂

‘ello. You posted in my diary once, and it’s been a while since. I’m commenting on everyone who’s commented in my diary before, apologizing that I’ve not been around lately. Whether or not you read my diary though, will determine if I should apologize to you. In any case, apologies.

Well, if nothing else you can put your swap space on the SATA drive. That should speed things up since it usually faster to put the swap on another disk than the one the OS is on.
