Bring`em On.

I just had a really hard week, last week. Test Tuesday, test Wednesday, two tests Thursday, and then I spent all weekend studying for the A&P test this past Tuesday. (Which I got an 82 on. Class average was low 70’s. I can do better.)

But now I have to shift gears a little. I think I’ve gotten down how to study for tests. (If I bother putting the effort forth.) I have two research papers to be done this month. One is due two Tuesdays from now, so the 14th. The other.. I’m not sure. Either the 16th or a somewhere further into November.

It’s as I suspected. I don’t touch things until I start them. Tautology, no? Well. It’s time to start. I am not going to screw myself over in these classes because I ran out of time to do papers. NaNoWriMo comes second to the fact that I have some ass to haul. Sorry. I’ll be doing bits and pieces, but there’s a good chance my writing will come in giant waves. I can’t sustain 5K every day. Not a chance. In fact, I’m not worried about NaNoWriMo. I know I’ll finish.

But it’s not as if the rest of my classes go on hiatus in the mean time. I can do better on the next A&P exam. I will do better. What I did the first time was go over material as it was presented. It wasn’t much! Not even a half hour of going over questions and notes, refreshing my memory. But that’s time and thought I didn’t do with this exam. I will not be caught flat-footed again. It doesn’t take long to go over the easy questions on the book website and make notecards out of things. If I can notecard as I go along, the final studying effort will be SO much easier.

There’ll be consistent spanish homework. That will require some more notecards. My vocab is always my weak point. I still can’t remember the difference between llegar and llevar. One is to arrive, and the other is. Uh. I can’t remember. That’s freaking spanish one, and I could NEVER think of a way to tell them apart! Goddamnit.

As it was the past two weeks, I’m going to be living here. I know how to be patient with myself and not immediately force myself into a stress. I used sudoku before to calm myself. Though I intend to give it up a little so I have more time for NaNoWriMo.

Honestly, I just intend to kick it up a notch. That’s all I’m saying.

Yeah, my longwindedness gets the best of me.

Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s 4 PM and I haven’t eaten anything other than bananas since 7:30 AM. I also need to #2.
