I can’t do it…

I’ve come to realize I *hate* people in my house.
Ok, it’s only people in my house that alter my routines.
Everyday I have very specific routines. I like them. They make my days. Now, they are changed up from time to time with special trips or treats for the kiddos and that’s fine but I *choose* to make those changes. Even the babysitted kiddo is part of the routines now and it’s fine. But the other type, the one’s that I don’t plan for (or plan very well for) drive me nuts-o!
My oldest had 2 little girls stay the night last night. We knew it was going to happen. I’ve had little people stay over before, but it’s getting harder the more set in my ways I am. These little girls are driving me crazy. I had the hardest time getting the baby to go to bed last night b/c they wouldn’t SHUT UP for 10 or 15 minutes so she would not hear the noise and want to play. THEN they wouldn’t go to FRIGGIN’ sleep last night until AFTER 2a.m. We get up early (or try to) every weekday b/c Joe needs to be at work no later than 7a but that’s not happening if we’re up til 2!! Oh! And at almost 1 a.m. one of the girls decided she was too homesick and her mom came to pick her up…
My day usually starts w/ gettin’ the baby breakfast while she watches a movie or something, then I get to chill with my coffee and a smoke, and catch up on OD or whatever. Well, this morning, the girls got the baby up and then pissed her off so I woke up to her screaming bloody murder (in anger). So I had to rescue the kiddo and took her up to my room for some peaceful waking up, like she’s used to, but kept getting interrupted by these girls (did I mention the one who left last night came back at 9 am!!) to be asked stupid questions. So we still didn’t get any quiet. THEN! I knew the babysitted darling was coming over about noon and I told the annoying creatures if they’d settle down and let the my little one take a nap, I’d take them to the public pool down the road this afternoon (why are they still at my house!!?).
Do you think that has happened?
No, my baby has spent the last 45 minutes fighting sleep b/c these heathens will not go outside or whatever and just let her take a nap! I told them that if she didn’t get a good hour nap we’d not be able to go to the pool b/c she’d be so exhausted we’d only be able to stay for 30-45 minutes and that wasn’t worth the 15 bucks for us all to go…

Also, b/c I refuse to smoke around other children (I don’t even do it around mine) I am avoiding smoking in the house, except in my room (which is the only room on the second floor) but they won’t let me get a decent cig break so I’m completely stressing about that, now, too!!

I want my house back. It’s trashed. It’s noisy. And the babysitted kid is done eating so I gotsta go.
