SOUNDS OF THE STREET
If you quote me I will deny it. I watched the game 5 last night and was impressed. Now understand that I am a die hard Senior League, National fan, and I bleed Blue, the NY Mets blood. In recent times I bleed lots of it. I rooted for any team facing the Yankees and delighted in the Mets beating the Yankees in Inter-League Play, the so-called Subway Series.
This year’s team does not seem to be cut from the same cloth as the arrogant and swaggering bullies or old. They are younger and hustle about their game. I might even go so far as to sat they aqre playing bay as if it was fun !! So best wishes Yankees and onto and through the World Series.
Getting back to real life I have been suffering with a Fall Cold that I seem to catch at this time each year. I had been hoping that I might escape this year but that didn’t happen. Tomorrow night I have a date for dinner and dancing to a Band I love who are masters of the 60 and on with Dew Wop music. Their name is Sound of the Street and over the years I have gone to a lot of their shows. They appear at a lot of venues, both outside and indoor and they have a much fun as I do. It brings me back to my High School days pre-John Travolta and post-Guy Lombardo.
It’s funny I was just thinking about Guy Lombardo the other day, and how the New Year’s tradition was to watch him and the Royal Canadiens.

I would like to see an entry counter for the new OD. Also a count of old entries.

I find that Claritin D allows me to rally from a cold. Enjoy the dance!
