SIX HUNDRED HORSES ****

    I had a pleasant surprise today. I received a call from a fellow member of my Home Group who is currently working out of Aberdeen, Maryland. This is a result of the Government closing Fort Monmouth and consolidating operations in Maryland. She owns a house here in NJ and rents out ½ and has an apartment in the other half. She has about 8 years to go before she can retire.
     She wanted to do dinner and I suggested that we make a there some out of it with Doris. Both of them know each other so tonight I will have both of them at dinner and later to an AA Meeting. What a great time and maybe we all will do something after dinner.
     I took my car into the dealer today for servicing. In the showroom they have a 600 horsepower Camaro on display. Fantastically beautiful with 21500 of aftermarket modifications they are raffling it off at a $100.00 per ticket.    I bet the tax if one won would be 23000.
