PATRICIDE IS SO CRUEL

Tonight was my last night for cat feeding. My son returns tomorrow from vacation and then I am terminated. This is a cruel world where we discard our parents and other elderly as soon as the need for them passes. I arrived at his house and as I entered I looked around hoping to get a glimpse of the cat but that was a forlorn hope. I put out the cat food, sifted the litter box and for good measure emptied the garbage. I also filled the water bowl and started to leave. I glanced at the play toy on the floor as I headed for the door and then stopped in amazement. It was her. Tentatively I moved towards her to attempt to pat her but then I heard a voice in my mind. Clear as a bell I heard ” Don’t push it Pops.” I left.

Today, after some morning rain, it became beautiful. Sunny and warm , a really great day. The only problem is that I am chained in the office due to my son’s vacation. Friday I may get out at lunch and I can’t wait for Saturday to arrive. My wife and some friends are going into NYC for a play and dinner and I will be a bachelor for the day. I enjoy being on my own and I may set up a lunch with one of my friends or I may just spend the day doing nothing. Weather will be a factor in the decision.

I have some reading to do tonight and so I will end here. Last night I could not keep my eyes open and I do want to get into this book, Just the first chapter hooked me and I am eager to continue. Let me grab the garlic paste and………

Kitty finally graced you with her presence and you just left?? I wonder what on earth she will tell her family about the games she played with you. Love.
