This morning driving to work I was in awe of the great scene painted by God on the sky. Over the ocean to my left was a most incredible sunrise that I had to take a detour. I went into town and the beach parking lot and got out of my car and stood there, recharging my emotional and spiritual batteries. When the gauge showed full I continued on to work.

I have said before that the weather influences my enjoyment of a day and today proved the thought right. All day in work I was in great space and great humor. This scared the people I work with but that is on them. Further compounding my happiness was the fact that I have two grand daughters spending the night here and I was full of anticipation for the evening. They are here now and I just got the use of my computer back from them as they carried on the most awesome multiple Instant Message session I have ever witnessed. Now Monopoly and Ice Cream with them as soon as I finish this entry. One of the girls is interested in copy-paste so I will show her how to do it. It is great to have them come to me to teach them something.

You make me miss Monopoly! Glad to hear the sunset gets appreciated by you:) [FreedomGrrl]

I SEE the ocean when you write, Thomas. I grew up on Cape Cod, MA, visit every year, and right now I can smell the ocean. Thank you, Affable [affable]

I liked reading about the scene God painted on the sky. Many times when I drive down by the bayfront I compliment him on the sky, the color of the water, the palm trees. Hmmm..Think I’ll go now! [Katherine]

Does it seem odd to get notes on 16 month old entries? Anyway, I’m enjoying your diary. And I’m jealous of your ocean side home.
