ON AHEAD

Let me start b y answering Georgette’s note at the end of my last entry  asking where I am moving. I will be domiciled in Oceanport NJ in a house nestled against the South fence of the defunct Fort Monmouth. The house has a large yard and a garage and is fenced in on three sides . A driveway gives access to the local street.

The house at one time was a two family but more recently it assumed a one family configuration. I will have a large bedroom, with a slightly smaller den on the second floor.  The eat in -kitchen and the living room are both on the first floor.

In the yard will be a  place for a gas grill and table and chairs. The yard will be landscaped and the driveway  paved.Inside  the house all is new from Sheetrock to hardwood floors with new counter tops, cabinites, sink and dishwasher,fridge and a stack unit of washer and drier. The house has two porches, one front and one rear. The man doing all the labor is a true craftsman. Finished it will be a gem. It will not finish before 12/31/17 so I will be staying put for a few weeks.
