OK I AM READY FOR NEXT WEEK.

Today was a day that had weather of every type and changed at every hour. Heavy snow yet the temperature was over forty degrees. Rain and then high winds and changing again to sunshine. It looked like today God was running a training session and whatever was not ready to solo. However, this is the Jersey Shore and weather is a topic of conversation but not a concern. I feel sorry for my sister-in-law who is leaving at 5 am tomorrow for Vegas and is scared of flying. All day long she was checking the weather and getting more and more nervous

Today is my wife’s birthday and my daughter had the entire family over to her house. As far as parties go it was rather tame until you factor in the happiness and love. Then it was a great day and one we all enjoyed. The grand children get along so well together, the baby was in a cute mode and wanted to be with me. and I loved that you can be sure. Smart kid.

Tonight at my Home Group meeting I had the privilege of hearing the stories of three strong powerful women. It was especially timely as there is a re-hab group attending of about 15 women and they need to experience the fact that there is life after alcohol. Some of the greatest influences of my A.A. program have been women and I for one feel that alcoholism is even harder for them than for the male. This is a product of our culture I believe.
